Free Waters
"The parish of Águas Livres is one of the three parishes of the municipality of Amadora located south of the railway line of Sintra. It is bordered to the north by the parish of Falagueira-Venda Nova, to the south by Alfragide, to the west by Venteira and to the east by the parish of Benfica (Lisbon). Due to the administrative reform that added several parishes, it was created on January 28, 2013, formed by parts of the extinct parishes of Buraca, Damaia and Reboleira.
The parish is bordered to the north by the railway line and to the south by the IC-19 and has 4 population clusters:
· Hole;
· Damaia Bass;
· Damaia de Cima
· Reboleira (metro);
The parish of Águas Livres is served by two important roads in the metropolitan area of Lisbon:
IC-17 that connects Algés to the Vasco da Gama Bridge runs along the entire eastern border of the parish along the population clusters of Buraca and Damaia de Baixo;
IC-19 that connects Lisbon to Sintra runs along the southern border of the parish along the population clusters of Buraca, Damaia de Cima, and Reboleira; (...)"
